No, there is no difference in the turnaround timing for NHS and Private works. However, the turnaround timings depends on the type or work as following:
- for acrylic/Crowns and Bridges: 5 working days- for Cr-Co /flexi dentures 10 working days- for Aligners 15 working days
The material used is different. For Private dentures we use veined acrylic, for NHS dentures we use plain pink acrylic. Private dentures are made by a senior technician; NHS dentures are made by a junior technician.
There are fewer material options for NHS fixed work (porcelain bonded to non-precious metal, full non-precious metal, composite, uni-block zirconia). Private offers a wider range of material options (porcelain bonded to non-precious/semi-precious/precious, full metal non-precious/semi-precious/precious, E-max press, E-max CAD/CAM, Zirconia with porcelain build up, Multi-layer Zirconia, Full contour Zirconia, and composite.
No, we use Nickel and Beryllium free materials.

George (Szekely) has looked after my dentures for a number of years. He keeps up to date with the latest methods. The new upper dentures are fantastic. Perfect fit...no glue...perfect colour.Matches my own bottom teeth. And in the latest medium. I am as fussy as all hell..my own dentist gave up on me years ago.
